This study of natural resource management in Bosnia-Herzegovina was an independent research project commissioned and published by NATO’s Energy and Environment Committee.

Founding member of a network of advocates promoting freedom of information. We have expanded over the years and in 2019, the UN proclaimed the network’s founding date The International Day for Universal Access to Information.

Environmental Advocacy

Developed resource materials and training for community educators and advocates in the United States, Eastern Europe and Turkey. Introduced forest preservation as clean air and climate change strategies into U.S. state law.

Program Management

Directed educational programs in Istanbul and Amsterdam, founded a new public advocacy center in post-conflict Sarajevo, and Executive Director of a NGO serving homeless women and children in Washington, DC.
